Tara Steinke, ND
Dr. Steinke believes we should aspire to feel strong, healthy and vibrant at any age. To deliver on an intention of lifelong health, she focuses on helping each patient address goals and challenges with a whole-person approach. Feeling our best also includes looking our best. And health and happiness is beauty. Specializing in gut health, preventative medicine, IV therapy and aesthetics, she views optimal health as the management of both the internal environment and the external stressors of life in a modern world.

Dr. Steinke completed her medical doctorate at Bastyr University with advanced training in IV therapy and cranial sacral therapy. Prior to entering medical school, she received her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University and worked as a corporate research engineer. This research background allows Dr. Steinke to bring a detail oriented and foundationally scientific perspective to patient care. She believes in providing an integrative, personalized approach with each patient and loves contributing to a team care environment as a naturopathic doctor.

Dr. Steinke believes a powerful tool in naturopathic care is the focus on primary prevention. What is so often called "preventative care" in today's modern medical paradigm is simply strategies of early disease detection. Although early detection is critical to positive outcomes for diagnosed patients, we often miss invaluable opportunities to create an internal terrain that supports wellness long before disease can manifest, in which the body can function at it's highest level. This is primary prevention.
